1. Immerse cedar plank in water for 4 hours.
2.Place salmon on rimmed baking sheet,skin side down,after removing skin. Sprinkle with half salt and pepper. brush evenly with mustard. Cover with plastic wrap.Chill at least two hours.
3.Preheat BBQ to high heat,lid closed.Remove cedar plank from water.Pat dry. remove salmon from fridge.Sprinkle with brown sugar.
4. Open BBQ lid.Place cedar plank on grill,close,grill plank 10 minutes.Turn plank over,brush with oil.Sprinkle plank with remaining salt and pepper. place salmon on plank.,cook 20 mins.
5. carefully remove plank.Sprinkle salmon with chives Serve with lemon wedges.
have water available to spray on plank if it catches fire.Soak plank before discarding.
