Best pound cake I have ever tasted. From kitchen of Dot Tankersley
Grease and flour large tube pan.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add sour cream and flavoring. Then add flour with soda and eggs alternately until used.
Bake 1 hour 15 minutes at 325 degrees or until tester comes out clean. Let cool 15 minutes, then remove from pan by turning over on plate.
Be sure to use cake flour. If you use plain flour, the cake comes out dense.
