Suggest a better descriptionCream together the softened butter or margarine and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat well. Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to the creamed mixture; beat well. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips. Spread in greased 9 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool; cut into bars. Makes 32 bars.
