This is a marvelous apple tart that can be made in a pie plate or tart pan if you have one. A frangipane filling really brings together the flavors of autumn.
1. Preheat oven to 220?C.
2. Peel and core the apples and cut into slices.
3. Put the apples into a pan with 100g of sugar and the cinnamon and cook on a low heat for a few minutes.
4. Unroll the dough and place in an 8 inch pie dish and blind bake untill starting to rise. Arrange the apples in a circle around the dish (as per photo) and cook for about 20 mins.
5. Whip the cream with the eggs, add the sugar and Calvodos, pour over the apples and cook for approx 10-15 mins untill golden brown.
