Suggest a better descriptionMix shortening, sugar, flavorings & color. Blend flour & salt; stir into shortening mixture. Chill 1 hour. Heat oven to 400. In palm of hand, pat 1 level Tbls. dough into oblong about 3* 1 1/2". If dough seems too dry, carefully add a few drops of cream. Lengthwise down center, place "surprises"-2 chocolate pieces, 1 cherry quarter, 2 pieces of nuts. Mold dough around & shape into roll 3" long.
