Suggest a better descriptionCook onion and garlic in 1 tbsp of the oil till just tender; add tomatoes and spices. Simmer uncovered till sauce is slightly thick, about 20 min. Cook pepper strips in remaining 3 tbsp oil, turning frequently till tender but still crisp. LIft from oil to serving dish; sprinkle with salt and pepper.
