Chili con Carne

Ingredients

400 grams Red Beans

1 kilogram Ground Beef

2 tablespoons Cooking Oil

2 cups White Onions chopped

1/4 cup Garlic chopped

2 cups Red and Green Bell Peppers chopped

1 pack Chili con Carne Seasoning Mix (McCormick)

400 grams Tomato Sauce

1/2 to 1 cup Water

1 piece Beef Cube

Salt


Directions

1. Boil red beans until soft. Set aside. 2. Saute onions in oil until soft. Add garlic and saute for an additional 1 minute 3. Add beef, Chili con Carne Seasoning Mix and Bell Peppers to onion and cook until beef is completely browned and cooked. 4. Add the softened beans, beef cube, water and tomato sauce to the pot (adjust the amount of water depending on how thick you want the chili to be) 5. Simmer for an additional 15 minutes 6. Season with salt
