Ingredients

12 oz beer (preferably dark)

28 oz canned fire-roasted crushed tomatoes

3 cans of beans (variety)

1 can of corn

1 medium onion chopped

3 jalapeños, chopped (remove seeds for less spice)

3 cloves garlic minced

2 tbsp chili powder

2 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp salt (more to taste depends on the salt content of the cans)

8 oz ground beef

Directions

Add drained beans, drained corn, tomato, and beer to a pot over a high flame. Cook onion in a pan until translucent. Add garlic and jalapeños and cook until slightly charred. Add spices, and cook another 30 seconds. If spices are dry or sticking, add more oil as needed. Add the contents of the pan to the pot. Saute ground beef. Add to the pot. Cook chili until reduced to the desired consistency. Serving recommendations: Chopped green onion and sour cream as garnish Quesadillas or corn bread as a side
