Ready in 30 minutes

Ingredients

1 c Brown sugar

1 ts Garlic powder

Flour to thicken to desired

1 c Water

1 c Corn syrup or maple syrup or honey

1 ts Dry mustard

1/4 c Soya sauce

Directions

This is good with any kind of meat or poultry really, just cook til the meat is done. For the crockpot, I reduce the water and make it quite thick as crockpot cooking thins liquids considerably. Or you could use the oven, cooking meat in the sauce at 375F until the meat is all cooked. Posted to Bakery-Shoppe Digest V1 #183 by Mindy <vinqvist@nbnet.nb.ca> on Aug 06, 1997

I just made this sauce for my pork chops but I wasn't impressed at all. It was way too runny. Next time I will use way less water. It did have a nice flavor though so I will give it another try.

This recipe was absolutely delicious. I have tried many honey garlic sauces but this one by far surpasses them all.
