Cook pasta, add grated broccoli during last 30 secs. Reserve 1 cup cooking water, then drain.
Meanwhile, combine breadcrumbs and 2 Tbls Oil in nonstick skillet- med heat. Season w/ salt and cook till golden, stirring- 5 min. Remove to bowl.
Heat remaining 3 Tbls oil w/ garlic in separate pot- med-hi. Cook till golden- 3 min. Add pepper flakes, clams, wine. Cover, cook till clams open- 5-7 min. remove clams to bowl using a slotted spoon (discard unopened clams), Add butter, pasta, broccoli, and 1/2 cup of the cooking water, stirring, abpout 1 min. Gradually add remaining 1/2 cup cooking water if pasta seems dry.
Stir clams and any juices into the pasta. Drizzle ea with EVOO and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
