Directions: In a large saut? pan, heat the oil. Saut? the garlic until golden. Add the minced clams, parsley and pepper flakes. Simmer for 3 minutes. In a separate pan, place the whole clams, water, wine and garlic clove. Over high heat, bring to a simmer, cover and steam clams until they open. Cook the pasta.
