Quick and simple! And soooo delicious. Extreme flavors are perfect for this cut of meat. Adapted from Rick Bayless' Carne Asada Brava. This would be great grilled on the grill!

New York Steak with Chili Verde Marinade Ingredients

1 1 6 oz can fire roasted chilis 1 juice of 2 large lemons
1 head roasted garlic 1 c XVOO

Instructions for New York Steak with Chili Verde Marinade

Combine and pure all ingredients (except steak!) in food processor. Pour over steaks and marinade in refrigerator for 30-90 minutes turning occasionally. Any left over marinade can be used as a sauce so be sure not to contaminate the entire batch of marinade with the raw meat.

Pan grill steaks to desired doneness. Only flip one time, you may rotate the steaks 45 degrees after 2-3 minutes, then flip, rotate, let rest, slice and enjoy. Works well sliced thin with extra sauce, lemon and heated tortillas. Add any toppings you may like, but they are so good, toppings aren't really necessary. ENJOY My First Post WITH Pictures!
