Fiery Hunan Beef Ingredients

1 lb Lean beef round; sliced into 2 c Thinly sliced celery
1/4 c Soy sauce 1 cn (6-oz) button mushrooms;
2 tb Sherry 1 ts Salt
1 Clove garlic; chopped 1/4 c Whole blanched almonds
3 tb Oil 1/2 ts Ground ginger
1 Bunch scallions; cut into 1 1/2 -(up to)
1 c Thinly sliced carrots 1 ts Hot pepper flakes

Instructions for Fiery Hunan Beef

Combine beef, soy sauce, sherry and garlic and let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Remove beef and reserve marinade. In a large skillet, heat oil until it sizzles. Add beef and stir-fry for 2 or 3 minutes or until browned. Add marinade and remaining ingredients and stir-fry over high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
