Suggest a better description1. In a heavy saucepan, bring 2 C water, the apple cider, cinnamon stick, and salt to a boil. Add oatmeal, stir until smooth, and return to a boil. Lower heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 30 minutes. 2. Remove saucepan from heat. Discard the cinnamon stick and stir in all but about 1/4 C of the dried fruit. 3.
