Very easy and very tasty ...
Cook pasta "al dente", according to package directions. In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook garlic for 30 seconds then add tomatoes, dried herbs, and chickpeas. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add fresh basil and simmer for another 5 minutes. Add to hot pasta and toss to mix. Serve sprinkled with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
Be sure to use fresh basil and parmesan cheese; it''''s just not as good otherwise!
