This is a good basic recipe that you can change up by adding mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, Italian sausage, or whatever you like on pizza. I tried keeping it healthy by using fat free mushroom soup and turkey pepperoni.
"I LOVE this recipe! I made this 2 weeks ago or so and it looked like there would be a ton so I actually made 2 separate meals out of it so nine would go to waste! I layered half of everything in a 1.5qt baking dish with tight fitting lid and froze it! I pulled it out last night and put it in the fridge last night to thaw; then popped it in the oven on 350 for about an hour and it was perfect!! This is such an awesome dish to have and I am spreading along to everyone I know!! Thanks again for such a great dish!!"- tripletmama

golfincanada 4 months agoVery average. I didn't mind the Crockpot Pizza Casserole but it certainly wasn't a hit with the remaining 3 people at the table. For this reason I would not make it again.
tinktink521 5 months agoThis was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS soooo full of flavor!! I used sausage instead of ground beef?2 jars of pizza sauce instead of 1 and mozzeralla in my layers topped with grated parmesean..I put yellow green and red peppers in with my onions and sauce mix! Topped with more fresh peppers and olives!!! Definitely make this over and over :))

Coolcatkimmie 8 months agoWe loved it! I didn't do all the layers, I just mixed it all together, put a layer of cheese on top and covered it with chunks of bacon and red pepper flakes.

Firebyrd 8 months agoMade this again for another kiddie party-it's so very tasty that people keep asking for me to bring it for their children, whose palates are ALWAYS dying for pizza, burgers, etc. This is such an easy to make creation that it truly is the gift that keeps on giving!

Masterharper2 9 months agoThis dish is loved in my house. It's an easy one to modify to your tastes.
Holly78 9 months agoPoor texture and basic ingredients made it too salty for our taste. The dish tasted very processed. Will not make again unless using fresh sauce and would delete the pepperoni and select a different cheese.

platinumdiva 10 months agoPasta turned out gummy for me but the flavor was great!
Ange325 10 months agoReally good, I'd say its more like lasagna. I used half ground pork half beef, added mushrooms to the sauce, and used mozzarella cheese also.

Krosebrown 11 month agoExcellent recipe, luckily I had my husband's leftover spaghetti sauce to use up which provided lots of flavor! I used penne pasta and boiled it for 6 min. The end result was delicious & perfectly cooked pasta casserole!
Angieds23 11 month agoGreat and simple recipe! Added garlic powder and Italian seasoning to meat along with green and yellow peppers. Yummy!!!
