Crockpot Pizza Casserole

Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Slow Cooker

This is a good basic recipe that you can change up by adding mushrooms, black olives, green peppers, Italian sausage, or whatever you like on pizza. I tried keeping it healthy by using fat free mushroom soup and turkey pepperoni.

"I LOVE this recipe! I made this 2 weeks ago or so and it looked like there would be a ton so I actually made 2 separate meals out of it so nine would go to waste! I layered half of everything in a 1.5qt baking dish with tight fitting lid and froze it! I pulled it out last night and put it in the fridge last night to thaw; then popped it in the oven on 350 for about an hour and it was perfect!! This is such an awesome dish to have and I am spreading along to everyone I know!! Thanks again for such a great dish!!" - tripletmama

We loved it! I didn't do all the layers, I just mixed it all together, put a layer of cheese on top and covered it with chunks of bacon and red pepper flakes.

Made this again for another kiddie party-it's so very tasty that people keep asking for me to bring it for their children, whose palates are ALWAYS dying for pizza, burgers, etc. This is such an easy to make creation that it truly is the gift that keeps on giving!

Poor texture and basic ingredients made it too salty for our taste. The dish tasted very processed. Will not make again unless using fresh sauce and would delete the pepperoni and select a different cheese.

Pasta turned out gummy for me but the flavor was great!

Really good, I'd say its more like lasagna. I used half ground pork half beef, added mushrooms to the sauce, and used mozzarella cheese also.

Excellent recipe, luckily I had my husband's leftover spaghetti sauce to use up which provided lots of flavor! I used penne pasta and boiled it for 6 min. The end result was delicious & perfectly cooked pasta casserole!
