Cream butter and sugar thoroughly, add eggs and continue to beat. Sift flour, salt, and soda three times and add with the nuts to the first mixture. Pack in a mold and refrigerate overnight. Slice as thin as possible and cook 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees until done.
