Recipes »  Main Dish  »  Burgers

One of my favorite burgers ever! The burgundy gives the beef a robust flavor, complimenting imported cheeses very nicely.

"Tried this burger per a friend's recommendation (Rwfaison). Tender, very well seasoned as commented on before. I minced the onion and garlic together in the food processor, and only added about 1/2 the amount of bread crumbs called for. Will make these again and again!"

The best burger Ive had in years, loaded with flavor and real easy to make. They were the big hit at my barbeque party. Making these for July 4th too on request.

Once upon a time I ate a burger that had wine in it at a restaurant in Boston & this burger comes very near to that delectable sandwich, I couldn't find the havarti so used all gouda, Saturday's dinner was off the charts thanks to these!

These were delicious! I had them with pepper jack cheese, but I think a sharper cheese may be better.

Today was 'Gourmet Day' where I look up the word gourmet and pick something I have most of the ingredients for. This was a great recipe and the burgers were well-seasoned, juicy, and the wine made them very rich & satisfying in flavor. Well Done!

It was very good but has room to improve, just not sure how yet. I could only find smoked Gouda available in slices.

Outstanding. I loved them! I only changed the wine as I don't care for burgundy and the Gouda was a smoked Gouda. What a great burger!

My wife said this was the best Berger she has ever had. I did not add the onions, I grilled purple onions on the grill & used smoked Gouda cheese.

We didn't have the exact cheeses, so used provolone. Words cannot describe the greatness of these savory wonderburgers. I will just say WILL MAKE AGAIN!
