dillyskitchen ,One of the better Southern Fried Chicken recipes here, or anywhere else for that matter. I followed it almost exactly, though I did add 1 teaspoon of MSG to the flour, along with a few dashes of a couple of other spices I like in my fried chicken (onion powder, cloves, cardamom, sage). The flavour of the chicken is terrific, and the coating is wonderfully crunchy - and stays that way for an extended period. The pieces I was nibbling on after supper, after 30 minutes on the counter, were just as crispy as when they came out of the oil. Superb recipe. Many thanks, and greetings from Toronto Canada.7y
