Chocolate and caramel gooey goodness!
Mommy Faye's recipe
Mix flour, oats, soda and salt. Add brown sugar. Mix. Cut in butter with pastry blender until crumbly. Reserve 3/4 cup for topping. Press in a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350-degrees for 10 minutes.
Filling:
Melt 14 oz. caramels and 5 tablespoons evaporated milk over low heat. Spread over cooled crust. Sprinkle 1/2 cup walnuts and 6 oz. chocolate chips over caramel. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mix. Bake 10 minutes at 350-degrees.
