Recipe from Tasty Kitchen

"Incredibly quick and easy! Everyone, including my teenage son that doesn't like ANYTHING loves it. I have made it with tilapia and swai both, actually like swai better. Throw a bag of steamer veggies in the microwave and dinner is ready in20 minutes. I don't even thaw the fish, just drain off the excess moisture. Excellent!" - Weetie33

Original recipe makes 4 Servings
4 tilapia fillets
salt and pepper
3 Tbspbutter; at room temperature
1 clovegarlic; minced
1/4 tspthyme
1/4 cupPamesan cheese; grated

Easy Baked Parmesan Tilapia Preparation

1) Preheat oven to 400ºF.

2) Pat tilapia dry (if frozen, it should be thawed first) with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Lay on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray and bake for 10-12 minutes. While fish is baking, mix butter with garlic, thyme and parmesan cheese.

3) Remove fish from oven and gently flip. Spread about 1/2 tablespoon of butter mixture on the fish, and heat the broiler in your oven. Set fish under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until cheese gets golden and bubbly.

One word, fabulous!! I don't like fish and I had seconds. My husband and son love fish and they were fighting for the last piece.

I'm always trying to find new tilapia recipes and this one is a hit for both my husband and I!! I usually make more of the parmesan mixture to give the fish more of it's coating, but even as it's written is great!

Easy and tasted great! I melted butter by itself in a pan then added to cheese mixture right before spreading on fish with a butter knife. Worked well!

Awesome dish! My whole family loved it! Even my 7 year old had 2 helpings, and she is a pretty picky eater. Was fairly easy to make. The hardest part for me was spreading the mixture on the fish.
