A creamy beef mixture is layered with broccoli and topped with cheese in this easy, delicious casserole
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare the broccoli according to package directions.(Cook halfway if desired or mix in frozen)
2. In a skillet over medium heat, mix the ground beef, mushrooms, and onion. Cook until beef is evenly brown; drain grease. Season with salt and pepper, and mix in soup (I use mushroom) and milk. Continue cooking until heated through. Transfer to a large bowl and add broccoli, rice and water.
3. In greased 9 x 13 pan, layer half of broccoli mixture, half cheese. Repeat.
4. Bake 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, until bubbly and lightly brown.
