A healthy blend of lean meat and delicious greens will definitely provide
***Salt, Pepper, & Worcestershire sauce to flavor (additional spices may by used, just depends on preference)
Directions
a. I might suggest chopping all the ingredients prior to actually beginning the cooking.
b. In a small mixing bowl, place the chopped spinach and Brussels sprouts (season). Also add to the spinach and Brussels sprouts mixture the chopped green peppers and parsley (or cilantro). Once these ingredients have been adequately hand-tossed place the following ingredients: chopped carrot, garlic, onions and spice; into a skillet set to a medium-low setting. Lightly oil the pan and cook until the onions have become translucent (7-9 minutes) – seasoned as desired. Once the onions have become translucent take the skillet off the burner.
i. I might suggest preheating the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit once all the ingredients have been chopped up.
c. Once the mixture in the skillet has had a chance to cool (3-5 minutes) add the panned ingredients to the salad mixture. Mix everything. Next, add the milk, egg + egg white, Mozzarella cheese, and bread crumbs (or French Onions) to a medium mixing bowl – let stand 3-5 minutes. Once the milk mixture has had a chance to rest, add it to the salad mixture. Finally add the ground turkey and hand-mix thoroughly.
d. Next, place the meat concoction in a lightly oiled cooking dish at least 2-3 inches in height. The size of the dish is based on preference and how big of portions one would like to create. Form the meatloaf and cook for approximately 50-55 minutes, or until the internal temperature is between 170-180 degrees Fahrenheit.
i. I might suggest taking the dish out with 10-15 minutes left to bake so that a thin layer of cheese can be applied.
