HEAT oven to 350 deg. COMBINE eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and nutmet. ADD milk, raisins and butter. MIX well. STIR in bread cubes. LET stand 5 mins or refrigerate overnight. SPOON mixture into 8 greased small custard cups or ramekins. PLACE cups in shallow baking pan. ADD hot tap water to paking pan until halfway up sides of custard cups. BAKE 35 mins or until puffed and golden. SERVE warm or at room temperature.
