Suggest a better descriptionFrom: Kattwoman1@aol.com Date: Tue, 6 Feb 1996 23:59:38 -0500 Heat oil in heavy casserole. Add bacon. Dry beef cubes w/papertowel. Brown the beef. Remove the beef, add the onion browning lightly. Stir in the flour, cook for 2-3 min. (dont let the flour burn). Return the beef, with its juices to the casserole. Add the garlic, the stock, beer, tomato paste, bouquet, orange peel, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Lower heat, simmer gently for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. remove and discard bouquet.
