Cream sugar and butter, add flour with soda, salt and spices. Add egg, apples and walnuts to mixture. Place in greased
9 x 13 pan and bake at 350^ for one hour. Serve warm or cold with sauce
SAUCE:
1/2 cup butter, 1 cup cream, 1/2 cup brown sugar
Cook slowly on low heat until dissolved.
Serve with apple dessert and whipped cream.
