Glazed ham.
24 hours before baking, soak ham in cold water, changing water out every 4-6 hours.
Wash ham with fresh water and dry off. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place ham fat side up in roasting pan and pour in ginger ale. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 3 1/2-4 hours, or until tender.
Remove from oven. Remove the skin and score the fat. Sprinkle ham with brown sugar and pecans, pressing lightly into fat. Drizzle on sweet pickle juice.
Bake uncovered for 30 more minutes, until sugar melts and ham starts to glaze.
