"So simple and lends itself to modification pretty well. I substituted 3/4c of oatmeal flour (I made my own with old fashioned oats in the food processor like Dad used to) to make them more chewy instead of all fluff. I think they are best without the chocolate chips and I'm going to try some dehydrated strawberry bits next!
Update: Strawberry bits are amazing!"

jcart3213 1 year agoGreat cookie although my husband said it was more like a muffin top. I put extra banana in there but not much. I also took another reviewers advice and put some cinnamon in the dough.
susieq_64 1 year agoI just made these cookies and the flavour was nice. I added cinnamon , like I do to anything I bake, which really brought out the banana flavour . My only downfall to these cookies is that they are more cake like than thin & crispy. I only got 30 cookies but next time I will make them smaller.B-)

Gambe 2 years agoMade these today with my kids. Everyone loved them and I even made some without chips (never bake with nuts bc of the kids) for my 9- month old who devoured them. Definitely will make again. FYI-9 minutes cook time was too long. I cut it by a minute.
MSJenkins 2 years agoMade these today and they were devoured by my kids. I had to hide the last two do my husband could try them. I used 1 cup whole wheat flour & used Splenda Brown Sugar instead of light brown sugar.
yumikofricke 2 years agoMy 4year old loved them! Easy to make, easier to serve than banana cake. Like eating only best part of banana cake!
skim101 2 years agoEasy to make and delicious!
Chapstick 2 years agoI made these cookies and they turned out quite nice. I used 1/2 cup whole wheat flour along with all-purpose and I used 2 medium bananas.
vspink24 3 years agoDelicious, the banana flavor is both subtle and refreshing. However these cookies were more cake like than chewy.
