Chop up head of cabbage.
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Add cabbage, kielbasa, onion and caraway seeds.
Stirring occasionally, cook all on low to medium heat (heat can be higher if you're using a heavy bottomed skillet) till sausage is hot through, cabbage is tender, and onion is clear or almost clear, about 20-30 minutes (keep covered in between stirring).
Season with pepper to taste. Serve over the butter noodles.
