1/2 cSugar
1 tsGround cinnamon
8 mdApples; pared, quartered
1/2 cWater

Homemade Applesauce Preparation

Put apples and water in saucepan; cover. Simmer 15-20 min or until apples are tender. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar and cinnamon. If a smooth applesauce is desired, press through sieve or food mill. Serve warm or cold. 4 cups. Posted to EAT-L Digest by Shawn Zehnder Lea on Jan 5, 1998
