It doesn't get much simpler than this to make a delicious cabbage side dish.
Cut cabbage into 1 inch wedges (cut through the stem so that a piece of the core remains).
Heat oven to 450.
Place cabbage wedges on a rimmed baking sheet, drizzle with melted butter and sprinkle with salt & pepper.
Place pan on middle rack and roast until browned around the edges, about 20 to 25 minutes.
Serve immediately.
