Suggest a better descriptionMix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon. Melt butter in 10" iron skillet. Swirl sugar/cinnamon mixture over all. Arrange apple slices in skillet and cook 5 minutes over low heat. Preheat oven to 400. Mix flour, salt, egg yolks, baking powder, and milk. Beat egg whites with 3 tablespoon sugar until soft peaked. Fold into flour mixture. Pour batter over apple slices and bake 10 minutes. Remove from pan by inverting on plate.
