For Apple Dessert:
Mix sugar, margarine, eggs, apple and almond extract. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in a greased 9x13 at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
For Spice Sauce:
Mix well the sugar and cornstarch. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thickened. Serve over cake with a dab of whipped cream.
