COOK AT MEDIUM HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL THICK AND CLEAR. REMOVE FROM HEAT. 5. FOLD APPLES, LEMON JUICE, AND BUTTER OR MARGARINE CAREFULLY INTO THICKENED MIXTURE. COOL THOROUGHLY. 6.
