Preheat asparagus by rinsing and breaking off hard end. Put on baking sheet and toss with melted oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Roast for 10-15 minutes approximately.
While its baking, zest the lemon completely. Remove asparagus from oven when its done and drizzle with EVOO and top with the lemon zest.
