If you are craving chinese food, this meal is going to be an easy and speedy option! Also very tasty! You can even switch out the beef for chicken or pork. There's always the option to make it vegetarian by omitting the meat.
In a small bowl, stir all the liquid ingredients and add sugar, garlic and ginger. Mix well. Season with a little dash of Mill City Spicy Pepper or salt and pepper. Set aside near stove.
Remove caps from mushrooms and thinly slice. Slice the onions on the bias after removing the root. Mince the garlic. Peel ginger and then mince. Chop the basil.
Set aside.
Bring 6 cups water to a boil and add noodles. Cook only until al dente (about 4 minutes) and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
Add 2 Tbsp oil to large saute pan and brown the ground beef and add Chinese 5 spice and Mill City Spicy Pepper. Add mushrooms and cook until browned (3 minutes) add ginger and garlic and stir one minute. Turn off the heat and fold in the green onion and bean sprouts. Drain the rice noodles and add to the ground beef mixture. Add the Fun Chow Sauce, mix well and heat over low until cooked through.
