Crab, butter, cream, cheese. Diet Destroyer.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Place crab meat in bottom of a cassarole dish and sprinkle with lemon juice, set aside.
In a large heavy pot melt butter, and add veggies and spices, sauté until soft.
In a seperate container, Heat cream until hot, but not boiling (microwave is fine)
SLOWLY add flour to butter mixture while mixing stedily with a wooden spoon until roux is formed and smooth.
Add HOT cream to roux and reduce until a thick cream sauce is formed. Add wine, salt and pepper to taste and stir together.
Top crab meat with sauce, LIGHTLY cover with bread crumbs and sprinkle with cheese (cover entire top).
Bake 15-20min until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
Let STAND 20min, then destroy your diet.
