Boil all ingredients in a saucepan for two minutes until sugar dissolves whisking continuously. Pour over cake immediately after removing it from the oven while it is still in the pan. Poke holes with a knife in the bottom so the glaze can soak down into it. Wait 30 minutes before removing cake from pan.
