Very good, can be frozen after they are made and taken out when needed.
MaryAnne used to make these for her Bed and Breakfast and froze them for when she needed them.
In bread mixer combine water, oil, and 1 egg, sugar, salt, dough enhancer.
Add 2 1/2 cups of flour, and add the yeast on top of the flour. Begin mixing slowly until moist adding the rest of the flour until it starts to pull away from the side (Sticky dough = soft rolls).
Knead with dough hook, for 6 minutes.
Turn out into a lightly oiled bowl and turn dough to evenly coat. Let rise for a few minutes.
Grease baking sheets, or use parchment paper (these can be re-used).
Divide dough into halves.
Roll, or pat, dough into about 1/2 inch thick rectangle about 8 inches wide.
Cut dough into 1/2 to 3/4 inch x 8 inch strips.
Make a loose knot, like a pretzel, with each strip. Tuck top end under and slightly fold the other end under so that it will be smooth when baked.
Place on pans about 2 inches apart. These can be frozen once made and taken out of the freezer as needed.
Mix glaze using by beating 1 egg with 1/2 C milk.
Paint the tops of each roll and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Set aside to raise, about 30 minutes.
Bake at 350° for 18-22 minutes. You want a light honey-colored roll, not dark.
As soon as they come out of the oven, using a clean paint brush, brush on melted butter. (If using Imperial margarine only have it soft so that the oil and liquid don't separate)
Recipe can also be used to make large cinnamon rolls, which can also be frozen for later consumption.
Makes 36-42 nice sized rolls
