Apple pies by the campfire. Warm, easy and taste great.
Peel, core and slice apples thin. Flatten out each biscuit so it's twice it's original size. Put 3-4 slices of apple on top of biscuit, add 1/2 tsp of sugar and lightly sprinkle cinnamon over sugar. Then fold biscuit together and pinch shut. Use heavy duty aluminum foil and place 4 filled biscuits on each foil packet. Fold twice over and don't forget the ends. Place on hot coals but not flames for 2 minutes and flip for 2 mins. Then move 3-4 inches away from coals so to bake thoroughly but not to burn them. Wait about 15 minutes and remove from heat. If not baked thoroughly and more time by the coals.
I check mine every 10 minutes to make sure they are baking correctly.
