Homemade caramel rolls (sticky buns)
Make as for Cinnamon Rolls Recipe, but before putting the cut rolls into the 9x13 pan, do this:
1. Mix above ingredients together in a saucepan and boil for 1 minute.
2. Cool to lukewarm. Pour into bottom of 9x13 cake pan. Then put into rolls. Bake 375F degrees for 25-30 minutes.
3. As soon as you take out of oven, immediately turn the pan upside down over a large plate or tray to remove the rolls. Let pan remain a minute so the syrup drizzles over rolls. Be careful! Syrup is extremely hot!
4. Let cool a little. Great to eat when warm. You can also put 1/2 cup pecan halves or walnuts into the syrup in the pan before putting in rolls.
