This makes a perfect chewy, gooey rice krispy treat. This is the way they were meant to be.
1. In a large sauce pan, melt butter and add in marshmellows continue to slowly melt. stir constantly and dont let stick.
2. Add vanilla if desired, slowly add rice krispies, should be fairly wet and gooey, * if you feel its too soupy,
you can add more rice krispies.
3. Press into desired greased pan and let set for several hours or over night. and enjoy!
when pressing into greased pan , it works best to wer gloves nd or to grease or butter your hands up then press into and dont over press it , othewise they are more dense and heavy rather than lite and chewy. this really is how rice krispy treats were meant to be made..in my opinion anyways.. LOL
