A meal in one with all my comfort foods
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray 8 inch baking dish, set aside
Cook bacon slices until crisp. reserve bacon grease in pan. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces.
Add chicken breasts to pan with bacon grease and thoroughly cook. Remove chicken from pan and cut into 1/2 inch chunks.
In medium bowl, whisk together milk and soup.
Melt butter in sauce pan. Add flour. Cook for 2 minutes while continuously stirring with whisk. Gradually add milk/soup mixture while stirring with whisk. Bring to boils and cook for 2 minutes or until thickens. Remove from heat. Let stand 4 minutes.
Add Italian cheese blend, onion powder, garlic powder, dill and salt. Stir until cheese melts. Add pasta, chicken, and half of bacon.
Pour noodle mixture into,baking dish. Sprinkle Colby cheese and bacon bits over top. Bake for 20 minutes or until heated through.
Optional, top with green onions before serving.
