"This was very good! Very light and was enjoyed by my entire family. I did have to add a bit more salt (I prefer "Cavender's" Greek Seasoning) which completed the flavor. Also, I do believe there is a error in the ingredient list...the 1 1/2 OUNCES of Orzo I believe is supposed to state 1 1/2 CUPS of Orzo...oops!"

Preparation

Cook pasta according to package directions. In a 10-inch skillet or wok heat oil over high heat; add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add chicken and cook, stirring quickly and frequently, until chicken is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, broth, salt, and pepper and let cook until chicken is tender and mixture is heated through, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve over hot orzo and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. This really was excellent. And, to make it even better, I had all the ingredients except the parmesan on hand. So, I substituted provolone, and it was still top-notch.

My family and I loved this dish. I had used the orzo in deserts in the past and found this recipe to try orzo as a dinner side dish. Simple ingredients and simple to make, with a nice presentation at the end. Thank Yo for this recipe. We will be making this again soon!!
