Try this Chicken n Broccoli-Topped Orzo recipe, or contribute your own.
Cook pasta according to package directions. In a 10-inch skillet or wok heat oil over high heat; add garlic and saute for 1 minute. Add chicken and cook, stirring quickly and frequently, until chicken is no longer pink, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli, broth, salt, and pepper and let cook until chicken is tender and mixture is heated through, 3 to 5 minutes. Serve over hot orzo and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Nicky35747 5y agoThis really was excellent. And, to make it even better, I had all the ingredients except the parmesan on hand. So, I substituted provolone, and it was still top-notch.
boeingbrat 6y agoreally liked it. tho didn't use as much orzo. but everyone enjoyed it... didn't even mind eating the leftovers...lol
callie673456 6y agoMy family and I loved this dish. I had used the orzo in deserts in the past and found this recipe to try orzo as a dinner side dish. Simple ingredients and simple to make, with a nice presentation at the end. Thank Yo for this recipe. We will be making this again soon!!
marinap 6y agoThis was very good! Very light and was enjoyed by my entire family. I did have to add a bit more salt (I prefer "Cavender's" Greek Seasoning) which completed the flavor. Also, I do believe there is a error in the ingredient list...the 1 1/2 OUNCES of Orzo I believe is supposed to state 1 1/2 CUPS of Orzo...oops!
