Made of mostly canned ingredients this recipe can be prepared in the slow cooker or stove top depending on you schedule. To add more kick omit the one can of diced tomatoes and add a second can of diced tomatoes with green chilies.
Place the onion, chili beans, black beans, tomato sauce, chicken broth, and both cans of tomatoes in slow cooker. Add taco seasoning and stir to blend ingredients. Lay chicken breasts on too of the mixture, pressing down slightly just until covered by the other ingredients. Set slow cooker on low setting, cover and cook for 7-8 hours. Carefully, remove chicken and dice into bite size pieces and return to cooker. Stir to blend in chicken. Serve topped with shredded cheese or sour cream.

Cut chicken into bite size pieces. Place chicken in large soup pot and cook until no longer pink. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
