Delicious and simple chocolate chip cookies that have been enjoyed and shared by many.
Beat together:
butter (or margarine), white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg
Add & mix:
flour, baking soda, and salt
Add & mix:
coconut and chocolate chips
Drop by tablespoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º until they have just barely started to brown (approximately 7-8 minutes – they’ll look like they aren’t done yet). Cool on a wire rack. Cookies freeze well! (Makes 3 dozen.)
Use milk chocolate chips and make sure to take them out of the oven even if they look like they aren't cooked enough.
