original recipe was doubled and the amount made was always way too much
cream together butter and sugars until smooth
beat in eggs and vanilla extract until fluffy
stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt and add to other ingredients
stir in oats and raisins
drop teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet
bake 8-10 min. in at 190 dgrees celsius/ 375 degrees fahrenheit
cool slightly, then move to wire rack to cool
