An Irish favorite you can start before you leave for work and will be ready when you get home.
Lay your Corned Beef on a cutting board.
Season generously with salt, pepper, and Garlic Powder to taste
Take a large fork and pierce the meat several times on all sides driving your seasoning into the meat.
Place your meat into a large slow cooker
Add the potatoes, carrots, onion, and cabbage around the corned beef.
Add the Beef Broth, then add enough water to cover.
Add to the liquid, the crushed red pepper, additional salt, pepper, and Garlic (If desired), and seasonings that come with the Corned Beef.
Slow cook on Low for 8-10 hours or High for 4-5 Hours.
Remove from slow cooker and place Corned Beef on a baking dish, fat side up. Coat the top with a generous layer of Brown Sugar. Top that with a generous layer of yellow mustard.
Bake in oven at 350 for 15 minutes.
Serve with the vegitable in the slow cooker.
