Pomegranates and Cranberries were made for each other. For a nice change up, try this recipe.
Heat the water and sugar, add the cranberries and bring to a boil. for 5 minutes cook, on a low boil, add pomegranate, lemon zest and juice and orange zest and juice; continue a low boil for 5 - 10 more minutes. Cool to room temperature. Either serve at room temperature or refrigerate until served.
Leftover sandwich idea:
Mix with softened cream cheese, put cream cheese mixture and turkey on favorite bread and enjoy.
