Suggest a better descriptionChuck roast – cut off excess fat, salt & pepper both sides and pan fry to brown it a little.
Peel and cut up carrots, celery & potatoes.
Place Chuck Roast in bottom of Crockpot – Put on High Slow cook ( just for 1 hour then change to Low Slow cook. Add two cans of beef broth, Add vegies, cut up onion, package of dry onion soup, thyme, Bay leafs and whole peeled garlic 3 cloves. Try to remove Bay leafs & garlic before serving. Top it off with a can of beer or a cup of wine. Juice should cover at least half way up the veggies. Stir veggies after to 3-4 hours. Will be done in about 6 hours.
